Platypus 0 Report post Posted October 22, 2007 Hey everyoneNew member here, these days Im playing more and more hockey and I thought joining this forum would be a great idea. A little about me: I play Div 1 intramurals at U of Toronto and in the ASHL, Toronto area men's league in the summer.Im starting my own team for this summer and am currently canvassing our local bars, breweries, and restaurants for sponsorship. It looks like for solid jerseys itll cost anywhere from $50-75 each it sponsorship is a must.Anyways I thought some of you might know of some cheap but pro looking jersey suppliers. With the strong CDN dollar, Im open to using US suppliers as well if they are cheaper. I figured there would be no shortage of ppl with jersey ordering info and I also thought some of you might be able to provide a deal given that some of you work in the industry or know someone who might. So far the only store Ive really looked into is Bigstick.ca - but they aren't cheap.Suggestions?Help? Thanks guys!
Spreedizzle 1 Report post Posted October 23, 2007 I just got through ordering about 18 jerseys from Hockey Giant for my team. We went with the Bruins practice jersey. It came out really well. And HG has team discount for jersey's also, and a very large selection.
Hockey Fan 51 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2007 Perani's (Hockey World) did our jerseys 2 years ago. They had quite a big selection and pretty good team discounts. I think they have 2 Canadian stores too, so they might be able to ship to you cheaper. This year we bought the jerseys more locally in MA (Pure Hockey) and had them printed ourselves to save time. With all of the new jerseys out this year, you might even find the older CCM 15000 series jerseys a lot more affordable and not much more than a solid color practice jersey. Buzz_LightBeer 969 Report post Posted October 23, 2007 My team went with theseand usually you can get embroidered numbers (one color) for 10-15 per jersey
Platypus 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2007 thanks guys, all those places are pretty much the same prices as what ive been looking at already. hockeygiant was looking real good with nhl replicas at $29 and free shipping, then looking at the FAQ they say CCM/KOHO prohibits them from shipping outside the country. that wouldve been ideal even if i do have to do the numbers and crests myself
Jarick 5 Report post Posted October 24, 2007 My team went with CCM Gameday jerseys, game weight jerseys in team colors, run $30 each new. We got light and dark jerseys plus matching light and dark socks with silk screened logo, names, and numbers for about $115 per player. But a single jersey and a number shouldn't be more than about $40 or so.
Zamboni 6 Report post Posted October 24, 2007 The Canlan arena's ASHL runs out of has good contacts for jerseys, lightweight but servicable. Last summer Oshawa Canlan supplied jerseys free for team enteries that paid in full by a certain date-check facility before you order your own.Local minor hockey org in your area would have contact for local place to order jerseys from-in Whitby its Roys Sports/Enterprises if that helps. Kobe is the manufacturer for our clubs jerseys-not pro weight or price.
j8Zt8r 0 Report post Posted October 24, 2007 I play the A division of HNA. They make you have light and dark jersey's with matching socks and everything sewn on. Ours ended up being about $140 per person for everything(2 jerseys and 2 sets of socks). We used pro-knit jerseys from athletic knit. A friend has a silk screening company and put them all together. I got a guy in Toronto who can do them around the same price. PM me if you want his info. May be less as we were looking at the edge style jersey's and socks with him.
