Smaller Gloves?

Recommended Posts

I'm 6' and 200lbs and currently interested in buying some NBH Pro 4 Roll gloves. Can anyone give me their recommendations on what size to buy? I know 15" is the norm for someone 6' or taller, but I hear that the Pro 4 Roll are really loose-fitting gloves. Should I stick with 14" instead? Thanks.

Two of my teammates just bought those gloves in 14" and they're really lose fitting. One is 5'9", and the other 5'10", and they look huge on them. I'd stick with the 14" gloves. I wouldn't always go with the norm. Buy the glove that fits your hand, and yes I realize this doesn't exactly help for online purchases. All the same though, different companies make their gloves a tad different in size. For instance, I wore a 14" in Easton, and I'm currently in 13" Fury's. So after reading all of that, I'd go with the 14".

I'm a tad bigger than you and I wear a 14 in the 4 roll.. that doesnt mean however that your hands are the same size as mine

I'm 5'7 and wear 14 in the 4 roll.. they're pretty big but I've gotten used to them.

edit: the glove itself is just loose, I wouldn't say the fingers are any longer than any other glove..

I'm 5'11 and bought the 14"- They feel great, nice and tight through the fingers but loose around the wrist.

The 13.5's fingers are noticeably shorter, if you can try them both on, do so.

The 15's are really wide compared to the 14's and felt pretty bulky to me.

I retrospect I wish I could have gotten the 14's with a shorter cuff.

My hand measures a little more than 7.5" from the base of the palm to the tip of my middle finger.

Yes, definitley try them on if you can.

I'm 5'10" and to compare to killthepoodle my hand is 7.25 from the base of the palm to the tip of my middle finger.

I tried the 14" and the 13" several different times and went with the 13".

14" just felt too big coming from a 14" CCM 652.

It all comes down to personal preference regarding mobility, protection, & fit.

I am 6'-2" and have the 15" NBH Pro 4 rolls. Initially, I thought the cuff was going to be too long when compared to my X80s. However, because the 4 roll is so loose in wrist area, I really don't notice any restrictions on the ice.

That said, I have larger hands and prefer a looser fitting glove. Some models just don't have long enough fingers.
