rollerskater92 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2007 I play roller hockey and my hands sweat a lot. Do the anti-bacterial palms actually work? Do the palms still smell? What gloves are durable and breathe well?

Spreedizzle 1 Report post Posted October 25, 2007 I sweat profusely....so I know where you are coming from. I play inline on an outdoor court in NC, so it is plenty warm here and condusive to a lot of sweating. I have been using the Vapor XX's and have been having great luck with them. The stretch palm and gussets between the fingers allow the glove to breathe quite well, while still providing a snug fit despite sweat. I air them out in the back of my truck while at work everyday and they have no foul odors.

Spreedizzle 1 Report post Posted October 28, 2007 Do the anti-bacterial palms actually work? Do the palms still smell?Without a little bit of care, any glove is going to smell funky. The anti-bacterial palms simply deter bacteria than other palms. It still cannot over compensate for negligence.
zales17 0 Report post Posted October 28, 2007 yes, they work for a while, and if you are diligent about airing your gear out, it actually works for a long while. but if you forget to air out your stuff once or twice, say hello to the odor, its a comin for you

Duder84 0 Report post Posted October 29, 2007 I've never had problems with airing out and febreeze. They're going to smell regardless, it just takes longer for them to start smelling with proper care
