Would you guys relax? Many people play mens league with an oakley small straight tilted above their eyes or no facial protection at all.

..with a few cut bars, this guy still has a lot more protection then most of the ppl in the league's I've played in.

I would probably use something similar since I'm more worried about my mouth than anything else, don't get me wrong eyes are important too, but I just have some wierd thing about my teeth and hate having to deal with anything on fixing them. Just too messy and doesn't look right to me to justify hacking up a cage of mine.

But in highschool one of the assistant coaches did the same thing to his son's helmet on our team and, total hack job and not one ref noticed the whole season surprisingly.

This is just a shitshow. Like Cavs said, people play with nothing in men's league. I don't, but at least he has something and you pack of maries are worrying about a magic bullet getting in the holes he has. I'm pretty sure he won't be standing still and tempting people to try and put pucks or sticks in there like he's at a carnival.

I once saw a dude rocking an FX-50 sans the visor. That could be an idea.

The best visibility I've had from a cage was when I rocked a catseye, but I wanted a bit more protection.
