Eagle gloves

Recommended Posts

I bought a pair of Eagle gloves at a tournament over a year ago, they were the x-70 xp(extreme performance)gloves. For some reason after two practices the gloves started ripping by the fingers, the material was just thinning out and tearing up so i left them on a shelf down stairs figuring to get them fixed somtime, well a year passes and i thought let me call Eagle and explain the situation.long story short,Eagle came thru fixing my gloves, they honored their product even though the gloves were older models, and i had lost the receipt. They were very understanding and very polite.Eagle thank you very much.

Good to hear! It's always nice to hear stories about companies standing by their products. It personally always helps me in my buying decisions.

The exact same thing happened with my eagles and they fixed them and forgot to fix the gussets and those ripped after they sent them back, i again contacted them and they then sent me the glove of my choice. EAGLE ROCKS, they have the best customer service i have ever seen with any company. :D

Yes. A great Canadian company! They answered a ton of my questions promptly and told me exactly where I could find the model of gloves I was looking for -- X70i with split fingers (at the time, no where in the States).

When I am playing, I forget I am even wearing hockey gloves the fit is so good. Worth every dollar I spent on them. And they are made in CANADA!

To my knowledge (which sometimes doesn't meen much), Eagle is in fact, based in Canada. They do IMO make a great glove, I have x70 carbons myself. I don't think that they are made in Canada anymore though, I think they outsourced to China or somewhere else abroad.

According to Eagle customer service, the X70/X70i, X72/X72i are made in Canada. The X3/X4/X5/X6 and the Paragon are made in China. My X70i's have a little Canadian flag tag on the cuff and the inside tag reads:

Produced with Pride

MADE IN CANADA.

I think I am going to give them a try when my current pair of TPSs wear out =) So the X70 is the way to go?

Their latest model is the X72/X72i. You might want to check them out. Here's what Eagle says about the X72i:

It is a slightly snugger fitting glove than the X70i was, but the feed back has been great.  The great thing about the X72i is that is has a removable pad on the inside (back of the hand) so you can adjust the fit of the glove.  If you prefer it to be snugger you just leave the pad in or if you would prefer a little more room you can remove the pad.  The pad isn’t included as extra protection, so you don’t have to worry about losing protection by removing it.  The X72i has tapered gussets, a contoured palm and a new synthetic palm and gusset material.  It also comes standard with Split fingers and plastic inserts in the fingers and back-rolls.

I hope I have as much luck as you guys I just got my second pair of Eagle X70’s and got a hole in them last night using them for the first time. Did you call the 1 800 number?

Yikes, I used to think my old pro-glos were super durable.

Not that you should have to after a few games, or even a season, but won't Eagle still re-palm gloves?

I called the 1-800 and there going to repair them for free and I don’t even have to pay for any shipping. So far I am impressed.

Seriously, what other company responds to emails within 2-3 hours, if not much sooner? Tina at Eagle responds in 30 minutes or less usually and her answers to any question (usually about custom orders) are extremely thorough. I'm always impressed by their customer service.

I agree Eagle makes a great glove. I had a ton of problems with getting my custom X70i's though. Took them 6 weeks to ship them when they had said 3-4. Then when I got them, they spelled my name wrong on them!! Took another 3 weeks for them to ship me new ones after I returned them. Another guy at my shop had his name spelled wrong as well. :( Other than that, they are the best gloves I have ever owned and will not be replacing them anytime soon.
