anyone catch the coyotes vs. ducks game last night? i thought it was an awesome game..11 goals scored between the two teams and Peter Mueller of the coyotes whos only 19 years old got a hattrick. Coyotes are looking much better this year with this new management

I enjoyed that game too, I cant tell if they where good or the Ducks bad...

Ducks look like a shell of themselves...

The young guys like Mueller got skills

Mueller is nasty... I recall seeing him score 2 times in the shootout at the u20 World Cup semi-finale vs. Canada last year.

Looked pretty lethal in tight.

The Yotes will be ok. If they can keep the core of young guys together for a few years, they'll all be hitting their strides at the same time and could be a dangerous team. Aside from Hanzal and Mueller, the Yotes have Lisin, Kaigordorov, and Wheeler coming up sooner or later. The Yotes have one of the deepest pipelines of young talent in the league.

I personally think Jovo is terrible. His best days are behind him, and I can tell you with 100% certainty the Yotes regret his contract. Derek Morris is their best Defenseman, and often receives too much unfair criticism. He was paired many times last year with Z Michalek, who in my opinion is O-VER-RATED, and DMo was often left cleaning up the mistakes. Keith Ballard is a stud and will only get better.

When Mueller improves his skating, he's going to be a BEAST.

Was a fun game last night. That giveaway on Doan's gamewinner was absolutely horrific, though. The 'yotes are putting together a nice young squad, and I'm glad to hear that they've actually opened up more than one route out of the arena as was the case when I was last there a few years ago :P That being said...

but im watching the coyotes game right against the stars and Peter Mueller is just gaining more confidence every game..he'll be a star player in the next couple years

No one has mentioned Carcillo. I think he was a steal from Pittsburgh.

He hits, fights, and scores. Also seems to be a good leader.

thats right, hes a great player..i love watching him take on the bigger guys
