Vapor xxx lite vs. Mac daddy

One of my friends was trying to tell me that the mac daddy and the vapor xxx lite are the same stick with different graphics and curves. I've heard talk of it on here but can't find it. Is this true?

If i remember correctly, its the original Vapor XXX (the dark blue one) that is the same as a mac-daddy.

I think the original XXX's were based on True-1 (Mac Daddy) technology but were built to Bauers spec. They are still slightly different. Innovative made the XXX's. Nike Bauer made the XXX lite themselves. It's an improvement performance wise IMO. I used both and like the XXX lite alot more. I've never used a Mac Daddy, but I did try a Dolomite for a few skates and wasn't that impressed. Good feel, but I didn't like my shots with it.

I don't believe they own the factory in China.
