Graf Pants

Recommended Posts

Tried searching for this, but does anyone know how Graf Pants fit. Are they more of the Euro skinny style or are they regular fit type. All help and ideas would be appreciated. I need new pants and saw these at hockemonkey.com

Their a lot like the Tackla fit. Definitely a European fit, slimmer at the waist and fan out at the bottom. They are a nice pant though and would be my choice if I couldn't get a hold of a pair of Tacklas. A very high quality pant, not as protective as a North American pant but more flexable when they break in. Still enough protection to play at about any level of hockey.

IMO graf pants fit similar to tackla. 700 series - good pant, 500 series - bad pant. I believe the 500 series has been recalled due to bad seams.

What would the Graf 700 pants equate to in the Tackla line?

Pricewise they seem to be at a similar level then the 951s, but maybe they're more comparable to the 5000's or 9000's?

THanks.

I own a pair of Graf 700s..Great pant and plenty protective...I took them into a skate repair/shoe shop recently and got them double stitched by around the padding and a couple rips repaired..Very comfortable and they hug the waist nicely..

I tried the 700's at the LHS and liked them more then the Tackla's 9000. The fit of the 700's is very similar but for me was better fitting.

I really like mine as well, but I may get them modified to add more padding in the thighs..I took a slapper to an unprotected area of my inner thigh last night..ugh..

I wear Graf 700s as well. They may not be the lightest pair of pants but they definitely are durable. The outside material hasn't ripped in the year I have had them. Zippers and velcro is still going strong. Unfortunately I can't compare to the pair of Tacklas I had since I don't remember the model and they were womens. I prefer a mens pant instead of the womens.

They're plenty light though compared to the stuff I wore in the 90s..which incidentally was the last time up to this year that I skated more than once a week..The Graf 700s are a nice pant that hug my waist and flare outward..I have lots of leg room and mobility, but they could use a little more coverage in the inner thigh area..I took a shot to that spot the other night and I was completely unprotected. I'm not sure if the pads shifted or there just is more emphasis placed on the outside/front thigh. Needless to say, I'm still a bit sore..another inch to the right, I'd probably be dealing with a broken nutcup.
