ramensandwich 1 Report post Posted December 27, 2007 I just purchased a synergy ST non-grip (the blue one), senior 85 flex forsberg.i don't have my camera with me at the moment, so no pics. around mid-shaft, where the logo is that says "composite", there is like a ripple in the paint, and the shaft is about .5mm thicker all the way down, and less concave. it almost looks like it was dipped in some sort of coating. i was wondering what this is?? VakarLajos 5 Report post Posted December 28, 2007 I just took a look at the sticks in my store. There are two different tones for the blue STs. One is a lighter blue than the other. Some of the darker of the two tones all seem to have what you are talking about, but the lighter ones do not. It might have to do with when and/or where they were put into production. As for what it is, I'm not sure.
