asdfa 0 Report post Posted August 6, 2004 use limewire. the reason some songs have screeching is because (i heard from somewhere) record labels release corrupted versions of their artists songs for download and many people download the corrupted versions and share them (its kinda like a virus) lime wire detects the corrupted files and warns you before they finish downloading, so it saves you from having to find hte file and delete it. also, limewire can find hundreds of clients sharing hte same file so the downloads tend to be faster.usually, wait until a file has like.. 200 sources then download it.. its almost guaranteed to be a good file Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
