Abbieshockey20 1 Report post Posted January 5, 2008 Ughh, I thought my search for XN10's had finally ended, but it didn't. The guy at Perani's yesterday tells me that they have a large amount of pro stock Xn10's, so I think great, I'll call back tomorrow and place an order. I call back today and get a much more knowledgable guy, he says yeah we have one left and it's a stiff flex. Damnit, I'm never going to track down any XN10's, atleast in whip flex. I managed to find 4 regular flex XN10's which is great but really would prefer whip flex.
bruins4777 1 Report post Posted January 5, 2008 isn't the whip flex like 65?
Abbieshockey20 1 Report post Posted January 5, 2008 I believe intermediate is 65 and whip is around 75.
hockey is life... 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2008 There are a few around the Niagara Region in some of the hockey stores, can't remember what curve or flexes they are, though...
gxc999 7 Report post Posted January 6, 2008 Apparently, the XN10's in whip flex being 80-85 but break down a lot, like down to 65 after a while.

I reviewed the Response lite R8, found it lacking compared to the R2 XN10
TBLfan 25 Report post Posted January 6, 2008 I liked the R8 but it's not as good as the XN10... Lacks that extra pop that the xn10 had. I haven't sound anything that can kick like the xn10. Everything else seems to be about on par. BTW do we know for sure that Gomez's xn10 is a real xn10? I have to assume it is or else another pro is just getting fooled on the paint job... Maybe they made a big batch for him to use until they run out. Anyone know?
li7039 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2008 Gomez used a R8 for 1 game this season. IT was aganist Dallas at the end of november. If i had to guess i would say that they are not real XN10s
Abbieshockey20 1 Report post Posted January 6, 2008 Well, it turns out that all the XN10's I tracked down were 6 lies, and I can't really work with anything over 5.5, so I'm back to square one. At the moment I'm thinking I might just settle for some response lites, I know they won't perform as well as the Xn10's, but it seems to be a very solid stick. I guess my search isn't completely over though, hopefully some more pop up on ebay, and if anyone else sees some at their LHS, let me now.
Steve123 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2008 me wants an xn10 redlite shaft in whip or stiff :DSo I'm guessing nobody has seen any of these in a stiff flex.It seems like this are available all over the place in junior, I don't get it.

I think it is new beacuse it has the grip zone and it is in the tps importers 07-08 catalog.http://www.bergersports.se/click on PRODUKTER after that you click on SKAFT and there you have it

Set up a permanent search on e bay for XN10's and you'll see a handful pop up from time to time.
Nealoc187 10 Report post Posted January 6, 2008 The R2 XN10 and RL XN10's are what most people consider the most desirable, correct? Because a search on ebay turns up a number of items labeled 'xn10' such as 'xn10 response', 'r2 armor xn10' and 'c10 response xn10'.
