Mission fuel 110/120 pants

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if anyone has either the Mission fuel 110 or 120 ice hockey pant and what they think of it. How is the protection on the hips? The mobility? And what is the Two-piece adjustable height fit system?

Also, behind the back on the top of the pants (the part that is above the waist and that has the mission logo) is that red?

Thanks

i have the 110s, they had great mobility and protection. however, they didn't seem very well put together, i had problems with seams and belts ripping all over the place. I don't think there was anything red on my pants so I'm gonna go ahead and say no to the second part of your question.

The reason I ask is because I saw a player with mission pants and the back (above the waist) had a big red mission logo covering the spine. If that is a different pair of pants than the fuel can someone plz tell me.

I use 120's and not a big fan. Seem to have durability isues aswell as the crotch on mine is ripping and teamates have belts broken. Not a very mobile pant but it is protective.

hmmm, maybe i'll take a look at the L7 then since there seems to be durability issues with the fuels. Also I think it's an older model so I would probably pay less money for the same caliber of equipment.

Could someone please post a picture of the back of the L7's just so that I can see if that is really the pant I was looking for.

How does the adjustable length system thingy work?

is it a warranty issue? our C/S is pretty well known to be solid with product warranty. i have the 120s and love em. i would have gone 110 except that i like the protection up top in the 120. if you are more of a banger you may want to go 120. the cut is a little better than the L Series ( no soggy bottom ).

What do you mean by soggy bottom?

EDIT: Do you mean the very bottom of the pants leg is a bit longer than the padding and kinda flows in the wind when u skate?

And can someone please explain how the adjustable length system works?

some people told us that the L series had the " poopy pants " look..... so we gave them a better fit. consider them to have the fit of a good designer jean. have you seen the NHL ads where Thornton says " do these pants make my butt look big? " some guys are taller than others so we have the adjustable pant leg so if you are taller you can add 2".
