I don't think he is anymore. He has been listed as a scratch with a Concussion for a couple weeks now, and wasn't on the roster list last night. I think his PTO might have ended...or, since he's hurt...he was released from it.

Watching the ahl skills now and am enjoying it more than nhl skills. better flow. quicker and more to the point. no dumb celebrity judges. even the crowd seems more into it.

Not that the AHL game is a real hit-fest, but since a lot of these guys are still auditioning for regular NHL jobs, it tends to be a little more of a game than the NHL version.

Agreed Purcell had a sick game, and he is having a great season, hopefully he will play a full season with LA next year.

Considering the amount of PP time he was getting when the Kings were on their western Canada road trip I'd say he's a lock for next year. Didn't look out of place at all.
