Intermediate sticks

Which company has the shorter senior lengths, or longer intermediates? I typically hack off about two inches on my sticks. I had an Vapor at 77 flex, but after cutting it it was pretty much like using any of my stiffer sticks.

My senior Pulse showed up at a wee-little 58"

Man, I just measured and I'm at 55.5"..kinda surprised it was that short. Those CCM and Rbks with a small extension might be what I need to look into.

Vapor sticks have a calibration on the back, so when you cut them down you know how 'stiff' the stick is. My 77 flex is cut down and is suppose to be about a 85-90 flex. If you are going to get a really flexy stick though, I recommend making sure you get a stiff blade in that stick.

My prostock nilson response lite is marked down as "I" so i'm guessing around 65-70 flex. Chadd's right with how it's all down to technique with using a softer flex. When I take snap/slappers I usually catch an inch and a half to two inches of ice first to get the stick to flex and do all the work for me.
