Custom Nike/Bauer Skates

Hi All,

I have a pair of Vapor xxxx skates I bought on ebay, inside the size (9) was hand written but the width was crossed out. There is an order number (also handwritten) which I believe is standard in custom nike/bauer skates. The seller doesn't recall the width (I don't think they were customized for him).

Is there any way of knowing the width of this order with the order number?

Even if crossed-out, I see letters that appear to be size 9 D/AA or 9 B/AA.

D/AA seems rather odd to me?

D/AA= regular width, narrow heel cup.

B/AA= narrow width, narrow heel cup.

thanks for your replies, but I wanted to know if the order number can comfirm the width with out having to guess. Do I need to contact nike/bauer or is custom order info confidential?

Can a size D/AA even be possible, I have never seen it? Maybe any size can be accomplished these days?

Yes D/AA is possible...that's what my XXX's are and I ordered them that way.

There are tons of threads that talk about the options available.

How did you determine what your size was? I have an interest in getting custom skates but no one around here does the fitting. Can it be done online somewhere?
