Are these gloves any good?

Recommended Posts

Has anybody has any experience with these gloves?

Are they any good, what would you compare them to, and is $99.99 a good price for them?

TPS Pro stock gloves

Thank you.

Also, does anyone know where to get a shell that matches the Toronto colors? The standard navy and royal shells don't match.

I have a pair of the real pro returns like that and so does my son. I like them cause the palm on the pinky finger is different. don't know if all tps gloves are made like that or if it was just to a pro player's specs. My son will wear no other glove, he used to be a big eagle pro return user. Before you buy these check e-bay, search hockey gloves, The goalie crease in toronto had a bunch of these at about the same price. They had them in leather and nylon, give them a call.

I've tried those exact gloves on at HG and I didn't like them at all. I'm kinda partial to nylon/tufftek so that probably played a huge part in my dislike for them. They just felt stiff and really heavy.

I had a pair of those exact gloves last season. They're nice, the palms held up well for me. Our team buys the St. Louis pro stocks and they are our team gloves. I liked the mobility they offer in the wrists, also. I switched this season to the nylons. The palms in the nylons aren't as nice as the ones you're looking at, but the nylons broke in a little easier than the others.

I personally believe that TPS gloves are such that its hard to go wrong with them. But for the price, look into a nylon/tuff tek pair...
