scharf123 0 Report post Posted February 11, 2008 I was in my LHS after training, and someone was geting a pair of Reebok 3K's fitted and they were the recommended beginners skates. I would either go for a pair of 3k's or 4k's.Try this link:http://www.hockeymonkey.com/skates-rbk.html

shifter 0 Report post Posted February 11, 2008 ..Do they fit you? Or you just like the looks? Yes they are beginner skate but, its not worth it since you will break them down in a matter of time unless your using it just for like pond hockey.. The 5k is same thing as the 4k with the pump feature if you pay attention to the 2 skates. Some beginner skates that are worth the price imo is: nike bauer supreme 30, nike bauer vapor XVI, easton 500, grafs 301, ccm vector 4.0 (was my first pair), ccm tacks 492. THese are some skates for the price. They all fit differently but, in the end buy what fits!
schrempsky 0 Report post Posted February 11, 2008 if you are just starting to skate, just like someone who has been playing for a long time, a proper fit is going to be the most important thing when it comes to skates. every company offers softer boots for players who are starting out or dont play as much hockey, all offering different fits.try as many different ones as you can at a pricepoint to see which feels the best for you
