e-pro replacement

Recommended Posts

i just got a pair of vector 10.0s and i really dont like the holders/runners. i liked my old tuuk ls2s and i like the mission pitch holder/runners. which (if any) will fit the same holes as the e-pro holders?

thanks

i live in TN so the LHS isnt so reliable.

im going to do it myself so i was wondering if there was a holder that wouldnt require me to drill all new holes and make it a lot easier on me.

i don't know myself. theres guys on here that know a lot more than me. I would say you almost need the holders to check because I changed from razor II holders to LS2 and had to drill.

you're gonna need new holes drilled, regardless of what you choose to go with. any reliable tech will be able to swap them out for you without doing a considerable amount of damage to your outsole. is it the feel of the steel that bothers you, or the response of the holder itself? you could try to get 'em profiled to match your old steel, if that's the problem.

Like mentioned, the E-pro has a completely obscure bolt pattern, you will find nothing that bolts up, further more, do you even have the proper equipement to mount/de mount them? This is a job better left to the pro's (Or from what it sounds like in your case, the guys with the proper tools). Ultimately, I would stick to the Epro if you dont trust your LHS, or send the off to someone reputable.

i just feel completely alien on them. i dont like them really at all i dont quite know why. they just dont feel right. i had ls2 and loved them and i liked my old pitchs too i just cant get the feel of the e-pros. i might get one of my buds to take them with him next time he goes to atlanta for a tourney if its too much to do on my own. he said they are really good there at the shop he goes too.

thanks for the help guys.
