Riveter and Oven

Recommended Posts

Don't really know where to put this, maybe it would be better in the Buy section. I'm wondering if there are any European skate riveter and/or oven manufacturers. Or any distributors? I own a small roller rink shop and I'm looking for both a riveter and an oven. Preferably used, but new if affordable. I know Blackstone offers both, but shipping these heavy products will make it pretty expensive I figured. Well any suggestion is welcome...

Contact the dutch distributors. Check each brand you are interested in and locate your dealer (which is the distributor/importer for your country).

nummer55: I know a guy that's closing his store because of old age, he's got both a riveter and a skate oven...

I'm not sure if they are for sale, but I know e.g. that his sharpener is for sale, so I'm quite sure he'd sale those things as well.

Would be great if you could ask him. If anybody cares: a CCM oven will cost EUR 550,- and a Blademaster riveter EUR 795,- (both ex. VAT).

Oh an Patrick - the paint we used was just regular paint. There are special paints for this purpose but those are expensive as hell. We prefer doing it more often with cheaper paint.

Wow, that's great. Never played on Icecourt, but I hear almost everybody preferring Sportcourt over Icecourt. Who will provide/install the court?

If the project goes through (funding needs to be approved by the county) it will be a finnish company, that's all I know atm.

Your comment is probably the first time I've heard sportcourt beeing prefered over icecourt.

Have you heard that from dutch players or?

I think there are multiple versions of Icecourt, but the one with the little holes in it seem to wear down wheels pretty quick. No, just from comments from this board. I could be wrong, though. Maybe some other readers can comment on this...

They must have the ovens and mounting machines available through distributors cause there's a lot of ice boots getting mounted and baked all over the world.

You want a Blademaster mounting machine with the inline mounting tool option. They're made in Canada, and slow shipping is the way. blademaster@guspro.com

I'm not sure, but the court with the little holes in it is also a little harder and faster. At least the one in Skate San Diego is like that and I've heard a lot of players talking about it. Guys on D said they like the softer stuff cause it slows the action a little.
