Numminen blade lie

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know what the lie of the Montreal Numminen blade is? Also with Montreal shafts, is the higher number less stiff?

I have search their site and this one. Thanks !!

Did you see them in person or online? Montreal lists the lie on every stick. They'll have the pattern name with a number after it.

Just so you know, the Numminen is a fairly odd curve as well. Less extreme Listrom, maybe a Modano with more heel, I'm not quite sure how to describe it.

This pic is a little off, but I can't recall if it's slightly deeper or shallower, I've since traded it.

I just saw them online at hockeyworld.com. I have a Montreal Woodie in a Euro curve that I like, so I was hoping to upgrade it to a OPS and saw they had a Numminen as well. The Euro curve they have is like a 300+ flex so it's a little more stiff than I'd like.

They have Euro in 110 and 80 flex. Intermediates are still 60" sticks IIRC, though I'm not sure if they're ThinGrip (smaller shaft profile).

There isn't anything above a 280 on their 8500 page.

I think, not positive. Seniors are 64" or some ridiculous length and my LHS owner told me that the int. lost 4 inches. They can be extended, but you'd have to do some modifications to the extension in order to get it to fit, and the thinner shaft might need a junior plug....

Not sure if the ThinGrip would be an issue, or if they are even smaller. I think the 9500 was for sure, but the newer Nitros aren't. Never saw the 8500 in a catalog.
