For wooden sticks, a primer layer would be needed for right?

Oh and also doesnt this make it harder for your team mates to pass to your stick? (if u know what I mean)

Sanding -> Primer -> Paint

Easy as pie. It's not permanent, but there really is no way to keep it permanent without reapplying the paint.

anybody have any pics of these white sticks?

Watching the Bruins on tv, I had thought Peter Schaefer was painting his sticks white (they used to be solid black)... but I looked up a pic, and it looks like they're manuf. like that.. looking at this one, I could see how it'd be somewhat hard to read with the white paint/white tape.

The new CCM twigs are white on the bottom. Like on Schaefers or Thorntons.

you guys are looking into it too much, just get white spray paint, and paint your sticks.. and if its a wood stick, it will probably break or go soft before the paint chips away..

a forward on the other team had a white painted stick in my game last night, and now i have white paint all over my stick. new opinion: this is stupid!

Has anyone else seen, I believe it was Svatos or someone else on the Av's who has about half of the stick all white and half all black. Anyone know his deal?

Here's a pic with some unpainted silver easton and black, but I could have swore I saw him in a game where it was just straight white at top and then straight black on the bottom half.

svatos has done this his whole career, or mostly all of it.. he paints half the stick black, and the white is tape he tapes all the way down, and i think at the very top his tape is black..
