hard time finding another z-bubble

Recommended Posts

hey guys, ive been searching all night, I only found one place that sells the z-bubbble(I prefer non-grip). I also searched all the local stores in my area!! the one place that has it is hockeymonkey for $99 shipped. but hopefully I can find it for a little cheaper? I also need to find a z-carbon blade, ive been using the yzerman meathook. do they even make yzerman in the z-carbon's??? if I can't find another yzerman/gaborik, which player curve would be similar? igilna?

$99 shipped is a really fair price. It'll be very hard finding one for less unless it's used. And good luck finding those curves.

Couldn't you just use the new Z-bubble? (S15 or something like that, isn't it?)

As for the Yzerman, I'm in the same boat. TPS Afinogenov/Sundin/Brendl, CCM Thornton, Warrior Smyth (haven't seen their retail Kovalchuk yet and I'm not sure they do either in a standard blade), Montreal European (may not be made anymore), and Sherweood Coffey.

Are the s15's (or whatever the replacement actually is) going to be different only aesthetically from past Z-Bubbles?

people keep saying its the new z-bubble.. http://www.greatskate.com/webmodules/catCa...9&ManuID=83 I was gonna get it but I saved $20 + got free shipping for the 2007 z-bubble. dont really care what it looks like, aslong as it performs.

Thanks for that. Recently stockpiled on non-grip Z-Bubbles myself, but with summer coming up that will certainly deplete quickly on me.

ya I kinnda wanted a non-grip...but im gonna try the grip one out. shouldnt be that bad right? you must play alot to break all those z-bubbles, ive had my other one for years, but I only really played hard with it 1 season, stopped playing for 3 years, now im back into it, playing in a beer league, I currently have the dark green non grip z-bubble with a easton ultra lite composite blade(yzerhook!!). I really dont know how the blade has lasted this long, the thing is solid. when you break the shaft where does it break??? I dunno how you can break them, I have a really hard slapper and I'm always taking them.

I've broken them down where the "flex zone" begins, but other than that they are solid. I don't know what the new(er) grip on the Z-Bubbles is like, as the last time I bought a grip Z-Bubble it was the earlier, chalkier style and for me it just ended up wearing off quickly and never made a difference.

It'll still be the same shaft of course, I just don't recommend using them with certain palms (goatskin was a big one, I believe) as it will feel like your hands are glued in place.

EDIT: Thought you were looking for intermediates, my mistake.
