I like my zleader and the locking up feature. This looks pretty good though.

Years back I Got yelled at one time though when I forgot to put it back down and play started after getting a drink. Must have been really into the game. After getting yelled out I suddenly realized why everything was so much clearer. Rofl

i bought one for my dad.. he has a vector helmet. He loves it and his eyesight isnt the greatest. He wears contacts when he plays and He said its the best shield hes ever used. He has been sticked a couple times in the shield and since i had the itech dx100 visor before he was able to swap them in and the visor was good as new again.

Just picked up the X200 today.... looks pretty sturdy... although I just found out about the non Intake tax. If you rock any of the approved helmets in a L, you are out of luck. I'm now picking up an Intake in size L for my 7 1/2 sized melon. I'll update after my first game.

Picked up the large Intake today... what a pain in the ass this was to install on the Intake. Plus the Intake had some issues that I'm going to return. I bought both at the LHS and am a bit disappointed that I've had these issues... The know it all 17 year olds didn't even know you can't install X200 on any L helmet except the Intake. Hopefully Bauer fixes this, because I really wanted to go to a 9500 from my current 8000 setup. The Intake feels cheap, but am going to give it a whirl... I'll let you know how it works after my game tonight.

Ok... here's the review

Coming from a Bauer 8000 w/ Itech X100, which I love but have had too many close calls this season.

X200

Definitely heavier, but not more than my old Bauer 8000 Cage... X200 has minimal shake from side to side movement

Does not fog up any more than my X100... and only on the bench... once you get back on the ice, it quickly disappears.

Mobility was pretty good... only slight vision distraction when the puck is in your feet, no more than a cage.

All in all I'm pretty satisfied with the switch.
