Recurving a wood blade

Just wondering if it was possible to boil water and curve a wood blade...I want to give my modano more loft.

I try to avoid water as that seems to kill stiffness faster for me.

well I don't have a heat gun or anything. I mean, I use the stovetop to change blades on my shaft/blade combo.

Heat guns are cheap. Go to Home Depot and pick one up for I think $15. I didn' think I'd use it much, but its turned out to be a great investment.

I tried using boiling water and it did nothing put your stove burner to medium heat and heat your blade up and crve it that way

I have a question too. I moved and lost my heat gun. So, what other way can I curve an XN10 blade with?

XN10 blade? If you curve it, you'll just end up breaking it.

Oh, Thanks. I would have broken it. I'm kind of new to curving blades. I havent done it before and thought it would just be kind of fun, since I dont like my Brendl curve.

Sell it then. Curving composite blades is a bad deal.

First, they don't pay for them do they don't care if they break them.

Second, by tping "sum1" instead of "someone" you only save three letters. Is that too much of an effort?

The get custom curves from whoever makes the stick such as Easton, TPS , Innovative. They dont curve it themselves.
