glove sizing help

Recommended Posts

what does 13"+1 14"+1 stand for?

The reason why I ask is that I cant fot into 14" gloves properly because my fingers are too long, I can wear 15" but cant find them for the gloves that I want...

is the +1 in the fingers?

Sizing depends on the specific glove. +1" isn't really a glove measurement, it's a take on a goalie pad measurement, in which the +1 accounts for additional thighrise added to the stock sizing.

Gloves are generically measured 13, 13.5, 14, 14.5, 15... etc. This is again per glove. A 14" glove can be a glove with a retail 13" glove sized fingers and an extra 1" on the cuff, from retail. You can normally tell by looking at the cuff and the sizing.
