Half-Visor Question

Yesterday i was playing a game of pickup and was hit in the visor with the puck. I wear a oakley pro straight and since this was a fairly fast shot i think it pushed the visor down into my face (im not 100% sure how it hit me cause i threw up my gloves to protect myself and after was told I had a few cuts on my face). My question- should you purchase a new visor after its been hit this hard? it seems ok, but id hate to get hit there again and have the visor break. Just curious

I wouldn't worry about it. If there are no visible signs of damage I'm sure it's fine. Those things are really tough. You could probably test it by taking it off your helmet and trying to flex it a little bit. If it still feels strong I bet it's ok to keep using.

Be sure to check the screw holes and temple area of the visor, not just the face of it.

i checked the screw holes and they seemed ok. actually when i was hit, it chipped one of the oakley side decals right off
