The only ones I bought from a retail source were a pair of black 5000X's (they were Thai) as I wanted the upper only. I immediately sold the lower. I believe they were around $160. All the other pairs I have came from various sources such as eBay, etc. Pricing has varied greatly. I have Wings and Lightning pairs with spare lowers for each. Also just got a pair of what must've been custom black ones (no NHL or team logo/etc) with red/white/silver stripes that were made in Canada. $80-$150 has been about the norm for the pro 2-pc pants.

That sounds about right for the lower end Tacklas price-wise. Eagle equivalents are in that range, we had some X72s on sale for 80 last week. However most of the other Tackla models would go way into the $200 CDN range

$80-150 is what you generally find the pro NHL pants for on eBay now and then. There are also other places/people that occasionally have them for sale. It's just a matter of good timing and luck.

can somebody say if canadian made eagle ppf pants are comparable to canadian tackla pro 5000?

From what I've seen, I thought they were a step down from the 5000.
