If you've ever played any other GTA game you'd notice TV isn't the main caracter in all of them. And why the hell would Tommy Vercetti move to Compton? SLy MaLLone 0 Report post Posted August 20, 2004 Apparently R* is going all out for this game, the characters and movements look really good in the trailer, also they are incorporating ragdoll effects in so when you shoot someone or hit them with a car they will actually fly back and look really nice. Tommy Vercetti was the guy in GTA3 and Vice City, they just made him more animated in Vice City. No he wasn't, GTA 3 was set around 2001, where Vice City is set in 1986, Tommy spent 15 years in jail, lets say he was sent to jail at age 20, which means he would be 35 in Vice City, and 50 in GTA 3.
