I've just started, and i'm basically just wandering around and such. How do i start a new mission? I've done some.. But i don't know how to get a new one.

Also, how do i call for a cab if i'm drunk or w/e?

New missions appear on your map as an "R" for Roman or an "LJ" for Little John or whatever the hell his name is, a "V" for Vlad, etc. etc. These are basically the bosses that you have to do work for. The game usually tells you or the map blinks when you get a new boss that you can work for.

Driving drunk is a hoot! I just got an HD TV and a ps3 and the explosions amaze me every single time. Anyone know what some of the buildings that are able to go inside? Any of them got anything cool or funny in them?

I successfully evaded a 6 star rating today.

Started with a simple carjacking, ended up on the Rotterdam Tower observation deck (Empire State Building) and RPGd the hell of police choppers. Went back down, ran down the subway, they shut them down, got back up, stole a car, went to Alderney, pulled into the Pay and Spray but one cop saw me go in. Grenaded his car, got back into mine and the gates dropped.

Is one of the islands even more downtown of LC than the first island or what are the other 2 islands like?

Dukes is Queens, Broker is Brooklyn, Bohan is the Bronx.

Algonquin is Manhattan Island and Alderney is New Jersey.

Not much to do in Alderney, oil refineries and such.

You can go into the Statue of Happiness but I can't do it..I die every time. You have to take a chopper and land at the base of the statue above the pedestal. There's an Easter Egg in there.

I read somewhere that one of the developers actually said that they didn't include Staten Island because it wouldn't be any fun to play the game there.

I'd have to agree with them, although the ferry would have made for a neat addition to the game.

Now that I think of it, I remember a ferry terminal from one of the trailers. I;m gonna have to find it now.

It would be awesome if MSG was in there, even if its not in any of those districts of NY, and you could get in there and catch a game or the circus or some shit like you can comedy shows and all that other stuff :)

There are sports teams that are referenced to in the game, it would be cool if you could go to a game.

In GTASA you could get around and into certain little areas of the baseball field which was a cool little setting. How sweet would it be to lead a rampage into a baseball stadium or land a chopper at centerfield and start shooting.

Sigh,... GTA 5 out yet :)

Yankee Stadium would've been a nice touch.

I climbed up the NY State Pavilion towers, took a while but made it all the way to the top. There was a pigeon there and binoculars.

What % are you at JR? Did you get all the most wanted list and how many birds and unique jumps? Do you play for 100 percent or just to beat the main story?

the first time I went up with Brucie, I crash landed on his roof and snapped the tail off the chopper when I returned. needless to say, he was not very happy with the result.

I beat the main story line in 4.5 days. At 68% now, but haven't had any time to play for the past 3 or 4 days. I hope to get back to it soon. Also, I do think it has lower replay value than GTASA. I like the new cab and replay mission features a lot, and I know this was the first game with the new RAGE engine so we might see some of the SA features (I'm hoping for planes, parachutes, pimping and purchasable property) added back next game.
