Warrior flex question

Recommended Posts

Hey,

Need a new shaft and am planning on a warrior dolomite 2 shaft. My question is what the 85 and 100 flex in a warrior is equivalent to in something like an Easton or Bauer. Would it be safe to assume that they would simply be repaints of the innovative flexes listed in the flex chart above, or did the actually retool their manufacturing to fall in line with the standards(Easton)?

So then it would be safe to assume that they retooled their factories? I ask because i used an Inno several years ago in the 260 flex and thought it was just about perfect.

260 is just a different number to describe the amount of flex.. that is usually said to be about 95 on the easton scale. Same stick, same flexes, just a different number to describe them.

If you click on the "Flex Chart" listed at the top, there is a list of Warrior/Inno flexes and their Easton equivalents. I'm using a 300 flex, and it feels like about an 80 flex, so it seems right to me. Likewise, I just picked up a 70 flex Easton, and it's a good deal whippier.

260 should be a 90 flex on the Easton scale according to the flex chart, so 85 flex is going to be the closest retail (equivalent to 280).

I would go with the 85 as well. The flex numbers in the sticks vary by a few. For example, in a 300 flex, I have seen anywhere from 295 to 315 inside the shaft.
