I cannot say that there is any cred behind this, but my friend knows the guy who owns some AHL team and he heard from there that phaneuf is gay, i just figured i'd throw that out there.

Since Phaneuf usually goes to bars where some people I know go I've heard firsthand that he is a dick in person. Some of the stories I heard like him going in only underarmor to the bar, trying to fight a friend of a friend, and some kid asking for an autograph with his dad but Phaneuf told them to f off.

If anyone has facebook and some extra time you can check out the group "Dion Phaneuf is the guy that...." A lot of the ridiculous things are untrue but there are the occasional true ones.

I have a couple buddies that went to highschool with dion and apparently he is just a total meat head, and a self involved prick of a person. I have also heard this from a team mate who played with him in bantam. I believe it too.

even i find it farfetched...but ive heard rumors about messier being a full fledged homosexual. Anyways, a buddy of mine has connections with the Winnipeg Sun newspaper and the sports editor told him a rumor about how messier would make pavel his "shower buddy".

Not sure how legit it is but i laughed out loud when i heard it

I don't know what the hang up is with everyone worrying about a player being gay....Who the hell cares?

It's 2008...there are gay CEO's...there are gay judges...gay cops, gay athletes should not be a surprise.
