Cole13 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2008 Ok well i go to lots of these games and actualy went to a camp for a team in the kjhl last weekend.....keystone is Junior B league, 9 teams, its can be pretty physical, tends to be more fights, still good hockey.. And i go to lots of MJHL games, 11 team league, really good hockey, its fast, still physical, fghts, its my favourite hockey to go watch, and attendance differs from arena to arena, some teams have rally nice arenas that seat more and sum have smaller, some crowds reach like 1200 or more in the playoffs... hope that helps
ljbaron 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2008 I'am guessing you have tryouts in selkirk? Because they are the only team that has a jr.a and jr.b team. And if that is the team be prepared to work your ass off because they only have 3 spots open and 1 is allready secured by a buddy of mine.
Cole13 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2008 well he coudl be thinkin of the winnpeg saints because they did have a team in both leagues but not anymore as of half wasy through the season .
ljbaron 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2008 Exactly so therefore there is only 1 organization in the mj with 2 teams.

Also it is quite common to see one or two veterans cut who will show up out of shape, etc.
Cole13 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2008 I was thinking Saints, i must be wrong RE the jr B though.I also have trials for the North Winnipeg Satellites. What are the penalties for fighting in the KJ or MJ lagues? There is the winnipeg saints in mjhl and they were affiliated with the winnipeg junior b saints until half way throught the season if i can remember rigth, they where then named the saint boniface seals for the remainder of the season... so up until last yr they had a team in each league and yah... 5 min for fighting
Dougie8 0 Report post Posted May 5, 2008 Fighting is always a 5 minute major. The only thing that varies from league to league (which I'm assuming he's asking about) is if it's 1 or 2 fights and your out. Hockey Canadas ruling is 1 fight, but for example.. the BCHL's ruling is 2 fights and you're out.

That is for bantam and midget players. If they take their own helmets off, they're getting a gross, which say in high school, will get you at least 5 games usually, as it's an auto. 3 for fighting. Zamboni 6 Report post Posted May 8, 2008 And probably get suspended for quite a few games.Get fighting, not removing your helmet suspension. I know it sounds dumb-it actually looks even worse than it sounds. Posted it as the possible "loophole", only one I've seen.
