Ok well i go to lots of these games and actualy went to a camp for a team in the kjhl last weekend.....keystone is Junior B league, 9 teams, its can be pretty physical, tends to be more fights, still good hockey.. And i go to lots of MJHL games, 11 team league, really good hockey, its fast, still physical, fghts, its my favourite hockey to go watch, and attendance differs from arena to arena, some teams have rally nice arenas that seat more and sum have smaller, some crowds reach like 1200 or more in the playoffs... hope that helps

I'am guessing you have tryouts in selkirk? Because they are the only team that has a jr.a and jr.b team. And if that is the team be prepared to work your ass off because they only have 3 spots open and 1 is allready secured by a buddy of mine.

I was thinking Saints, i must be wrong RE the jr B though.

I also have trials for the North Winnipeg Satellites.

What are the penalties for fighting in the KJ or MJ lagues?

While working his ass off is going to be important every year players are signed, promised spots and cut. Also it is quite common to see one or two veterans cut who will show up out of shape, etc.

There is the winnipeg saints in mjhl and they were affiliated with the winnipeg junior b saints until half way throught the season if i can remember rigth, they where then named the saint boniface seals for the remainder of the season... so up until last yr they had a team in each league and yah... 5 min for fighting

Fighting is always a 5 minute major. The only thing that varies from league to league (which I'm assuming he's asking about) is if it's 1 or 2 fights and your out. Hockey Canadas ruling is 1 fight, but for example.. the BCHL's ruling is 2 fights and you're out.

yea and most leagues your not allowed to take the buckets off before fighting,i believe the dub is the only league but i did read about a jr league that found some loop hole or whatever that allowed them to.

Seen bantam & midget players in GTHL take each others helmets off then fight.

In the maritimes its three games is most leagues if you fight, doesnt matter if the other guy takes your bucket off or if you leave it on. That is for bantam and midget players.

If they take their own helmets off, they're getting a gross, which say in high school, will get you at least 5 games usually, as it's an auto. 3 for fighting.

And probably get suspended for quite a few games.

Get fighting, not removing your helmet suspension. I know it sounds dumb-it actually looks even worse than it sounds. Posted it as the possible "loophole", only one I've seen.

in high school it is and auto suspension for 5 games + what ever your school/coach deals out. the coach at my school kicked the kid off of the team. but everyone knew he was waiting for a chance to get rid of this kid.
