Talk about your up and down years for Halpy. Having a so/so season in Dallas, gets traded to the Lightning where he goes on a tear, finishes strong.

Then gets named to Team USA for the world championships, then named captain, and now this.

I hope he makes a full recovery. From his time in washington, both with the media, fans and effort he gave on the ice, I have nothing but good things to say about him.

Its too bad to hear that someone will miss considerable time from an injury they got playing for their country. Injuries like this make you wonder how much longer teams will "let" their players play at events like this.
