Would you guys be able to help me out and measure your visor lengths for me?

Id like to know the length of the pro wave at both the high point and the low point. Thanks

Well thats ok then...but could someone confirm for me that the nose protection on the itech pro wave is better than the oakley pro straight?

Mine DID not cover my nose.

I absolutly hated it because of the groove on the top so you have to tilt it up on your helmet so that the groove doesn't screw you up. I traded it for my X-100's and love them!

kesler, take what he's saying about coverage with a grain of salt. Without knowing how big his head is, how he had it mounted and to what you won't know for sure about the coverage.

No LHS handy I'm assuming? Instead of just asking for measurements you could ask what you're really after and see if you get more replies.

In the mean time, you might want to take a look at a few old threads and see if they help, I found two promising ones after searching pro +wave +coverage

Rust - I don't have a big head, and my LHS store manager (Jr B equipment manager) mounted it on...So he might no what he is doing!

No poke at you, just saying if you've got a medium RBK and he's got a large Bauer that requires him to mount it differently it can sit quite a bit differently.

Some people mount the straight small such that it covers their eyes and part of their nose, others may find it fits more like something Jordi LaForge would have worn.

Sorry. I took it as a bit of a poke. I did however put it on a Large CCM

OK i guess what im trying to say is ive narrowed my choice to the itech straight the oakley straight and the itech pro wave and i'd like the one with the most overall protection out of those 3

ive had all three of those visors

i find the oakley straight and itech straight have the most protection, concerning the nose, because my eyes were covered by all three

i believe the oakley is the "tallest" at the nose, but i feel that the itech straight and oakley straight are very similar protection wise. my itech straight sits closer to my face than my dx100, so i do feel a bit safer with it

So they all went past your nose? Or just the 2 straight ones?

I love my X-100 and Oakley Straight, but right now i'm not wearing one XD so much for spending money on facial protection
