Most protective pants.

Got a deal on the Sande pants. $40 + shipping from Canada. One of the members here was very kind to email me pics of his. I will post a review of them when I receive and try them out. If they don't work out Tackla sounds sounds like it would be my next project. Not for $40 though...

Thanks everyone for your time.

Nike Bauer Supreme One90 dude...

Very protective, light, and feel almost broken in right out of the box.

But with all this Tackla talk goin on...I don't know what to say to top that...haha...other than I've had the 5000 Pro pant and they were pretty nice...took a long time to break them in but they were alright.

Still...NBH Supreme One90 for sure.

Tackla makes a great pant, as mentioned.

Conversely, when I was in peewees, I recall using a pair of pants that had "ROYAL" printed on the front. My lord these were the absolute worst protecting pants ever. They were the Sherwood 5030 shoulder pad equivalent of hockey pants. I remember I could fold them up to a small rectangle, that's how scarce the padding was.

I had a pair of Royals when I was a bantam. They were the best pants I ever had. They were super comfortable and had these sort of little hexagon shaped pads throughout the hip area. They were tanks. I wish I could find an old pair somewhere.

One90 is a good pant but not even close to a top-line Tackla in terms of protection.
