Vector VS. Vector SE skates?

Aside from the style, is there any difference between say the vector V6.0 and the Vector V6.0SE? I've read the reviews on the Vector V6.0 and am tempted at buying a pair on closeout at hockeymonkey.com BUT I don't really like the new style a lot of skates have (I like the "old school" all black look). I know the SE's have some chrome on them, but I think overall they look a bit better then the regular vectors.

This might be venturing into "do a search" territory, but is there anyway to compare the vector's to some old Bauer air 50's? I played peewee-midget hockey about 10 years ago (then stopped) so my current (I've just started playing in a mens league) skates are still my last pair from youth hockey. Functionally they are fine but the insides are pretty wasted and I figured in 10 years there have probably been some changes in skates and I should upgrade :)

Will the upgrade be night and day? Unfortunately I'm pretty limited as far as finding a place to try them on locally goes.

i think youll notice a pretty big difference. should be much stiffer. not sure about weight though.

Look at the ONE55. Should be close in spec/fit.

they are both 6 models, the only difference is one has a black boot & e-pros with yellow laces. Same skate different color.

yes im aware. he asked if there's a comparison with the 6's to the air 50's.

thats what i was talkin about.since i havnt picked up a pair of air 50's in probably 10 years i wasnt sure on the weight difference. i should have stated that though. sorry.
