AK27 Shaft

Recommended Posts

you could pick up a easton SE blade in a lidstrom and give it a try if you like easton blades.

I like the idea but what I forgot to include in my last post is that I don't like the warrior grip, I f ind it too grippy with my gloves. I might just buy it and if I don't like the grip (I didn't like the 2006 & 2007 grip) I'll just sell it. I haven't found too many of these shafts.

Also how dose the SE blade compare to my regular easton Z-Carbon CNT Sr.

thanks

The same way Z-Carbons compared to Synthesis/Synergy II blades.

Ok. I have used the Synergy blade II. So I think I'm going to try and buy the shaft. Thanks for all you're input. Do any of you guys know how to maybe get rid of the grip on the warrior shafts.

thanks again

The Warrior web site says that shaft is available in 85 and 100 flex. ???

I have the Innovative Fedorov shaft and it said something off the wall like 240 flex or something...but I believe it is actually 110.

Dont know if that helps but if you go to warriorhockey.com you can check out the info...

240 is 100, this is most likely a pro stick.

Oh word. Thanks for the info. so would 260 be 110? I seriously don't know how that works at all...but would like to.

Also, the stick I have is indeed a pro stick.

Ah yes...thanks dude...I went on hockeymonkey.com and they have some pro stock Warrior shafts with a chart...

100 is xxx stiff

160 is 120

180 is 115

200 is 110

220 is 105

240 is 100

260 is 95

280 is 90

300 is 85

320 is 80

340 is 75

360 is 70

380 is whip flex

400 is x-whip flex

I'm sure the same applies to Innovative sticks/shafts.

...or just go with the flex chart that's listed on top of the page. It's also a lot more reliable.

thanks I would of never of guessed that, but I knew that it couldn't be 160 flex.

Not you're average shaft for a 15 year old eh!

but I love it.

Thanks again

Yea thats pretty intense dude...120 flex is pretty dang stiff thats for sure...I was a little iffy about getting a new NBH ONE90 stick in the pro 102 Flex but now I'm not really worried about it at all...haha

Anyway...Nice stick dude...and good luck with it...hopefully you get your moneys worth.

So far I am getting my moneys worth. My uncle ask me to play on his 40+ league (I'm no where near that age) but anyways I was playing D and my D partner set me up for a perfect one timer and I blew it right by the goalie and got the puck stuck in the net. I love the stick, my dad (who was in the crowd) said that my stick was flexing a lot when I took the one-timer. It feels way better than any 110 flex stick I have ever used.
