Louisville TPS C4 Response Armor

Recommended Posts

HockeyGiant list the C4 as having a Regular price of $229.99 and they are selling it for $39.50 :o

http://www.hockeygiant.com/tpsrastksr.html

I am probably going to grab it just for the huge deal.....

But a few questions;

With a listed price that high can assume it was one of TPS' top of the line sticks in 2006?

Was there an entire "C" series?

Anyone have a review of this stick? (I am specifically interested in it's weight/balance)

Thanks.

that was the series that replaced the XN10 stuff. It was the first import series from TPS. Prior sticks were:

Original Response C8

Response + C9

XN10 C10

Adrenaline C11

For some reason they went with a lower number when the new owners took over and they moved production overseas.

If you like the S flex and the Perry curve, it's a fantastic deal.

So even with the lower number it was the top of the line stick in 2006?

....and any info on the weight and/or balance? (I think I added that edit after you posted :P )

If you like the S flex and the Perry curve, it's a fantastic deal.

Yeah....the stiff flex is fine with me (I assume that is about 100) I'm not too psyched about the Perry curve, which I just read is a deep heel curve, but for that kind of a deal I'm willing to give it a shot. It has been many years since I strayed from my usual moderate mid curve.

Yes, it was the top of the line stick that year.

Very light shaft, slightly blade heavy because of the shaft weight but not bad at all.

Worst case you can pull the blade if you don't like the blade. You have to heat the piss out of it, but it can be done. Then you pop in any tapered blade and you're home free.

Really? That is interesting, (and good to know, thanks again).

Ever so slightly off topic: Is there a list of sticks that are true one piece sticks anywhere? Isn't the One90 a true one piece?
