My shop Is called Warwick Mask and Equipment and we have the best skate sharpeninigs in the Port Huron area. People from Canada even come down to my shop to get thier skates done.

$3 at a local bicycle shop here. His machine turned 50 years old a while back. The clamp actualy runs back and forth on 2 tracks w/ rollers. Great job while you wait.

4 dollars canadian here, good sharpenings to. I stay away from Sport Mart or sport chek though. common sense really.

Only had them done at two places, McArthur's and London's Source for Sports. I'd say London does a better job of the two.

I'm mostly at fairfax, but I skated at some of the other rinks in the area and its looks the same. I'm sure its the same way everywhere though there a few good sharpeners and if you don't know them then stay away from the rink. Caravan I think was the place of choice the guy would keep a notecard with your preference on it, and I heard skaters paradise was good too but they are both gone from what I hear.

Players Bench for me - Pretty well the only place around..they charge like $3.50 Canadian for your standard sharpening.

That's a bit far but I might start going out there for drop in so I'll probably check it out. I'm sure the ice gardens in laurel is good too but that's definitely too far. Thanks for the tip though.

The only guy at Ashburn who is anygood is this game named Jason. All the other people who actually knew what they were doing have either been fired or Quit. Reston if you get one of the managers to sharpen your skates its good but Im friends with a few of the other guys and honestly they dont care if they mess up or the edges are uneven.
