The S9's are a traditional skate, closer to 8090's or 8000's than one90's they make them for pro's that don't like the newer stuff then dress them up to look like whatever the new skate is. If you search through the custom threads you should be able to find more info.

Nice skates if you can get them in your size and they fit you comfortably.

They are also the only NBH skate available in custom in size 14 and 15 i believe.
