Looks like the Rangers have been signing him for 2 weeks now. But the deal has not yet been done.

Stats are very subjective, especially when it comes to goalies. Weekes played with Carolina when they started to suck. You can't fault him for playing behind a crap team. Hes still pretty young, has potential, and is a very solid backup who could challenge for the number 1 spot in a few years.

He basically knocked out Jersey on their way to the finals a few years back after Irbe faltered......then irbe took over once he struggled. It was a weird run to the cup.
