Hockey Fan 51 0 Report post Posted July 10, 2008 I noticed that there's a Proformance Lite scalloped runner and a Proformance scalloped runner on the RBK skates. Can anyone tell me the difference? Is it just different steel for reduced weight?
aarondevera 0 Report post Posted July 10, 2008 if both say Proformance and have the arched scallops, they're the same thing. CCM/RBK just updates the graphics on the runner every couple years.

Maybe they used the old steel on the 5Ks.

jimmy 194 Report post Posted July 10, 2008 I'm not aware of a scalloped runner that just said Proformance. They now say" Proformance lite 10'", last version was "Proformance lite" and before that "Advanced Proformance". The scallops in the Advanced Proformance were a little different shape. Other than that they are pretty much all the same, 15% lighter than the solids.
lyle.m23 0 Report post Posted July 10, 2008 a little off topic but ... would someone that has used both the solid and scalloped lightspeed2 steel if it makes a big difference when skating ?

RBK has just been keen to add the "10" in reference to the blade's radius, so customers and newbie technicians know what they're dealing with.
