DIY Composite Stick Repair

Recommended Posts

A friend is looking to fix some composite sticks, does anyone know the specifics on what type/brand of flexible graphite, and graphite resin is used to repair the sticks? Any help is appreciated.

The material is simple Carbon fibre sheet and tube. I don't have a clue on the resin, I'm a SRS dealer, they don't exactly tell you what they use, otherwise I'd buy it cheaper elsewhere. he prob could use fibreglass resin repair for autos and that might work. Let me tell you though, with the labor involved and cost of materials, it's really not worth it for a DIY. In fact the whole process is a PITA.

Repair similar to SRS type, or chips/cracks in the blade?

Yeah SRS, Stickfix, etc.
