Graf (Sidas) Heat Moldable Foot Beds

I've experienced and dealt with foot pain over the years due to my high arches..I ended up going to SportsWorld USA to ask about SuperFeet insoles and got the nice Graf ones for $29.95..They fit great, but I've heard some great things about the fully heat moldable ones for $80..There are only two hockey shops in the Twin Cities (why??) that do this.. Sportsdiamond.com in Lakeville and General Sports in Edina..Anyways..I got them done tonight..$80..I think is a steal for customizable footbeds compared to the $150-400 you'd spend at a Dr.'s office..Anyone else have these? I cant wait to skate in them tommorow..Hopefully they'll be worth the $80. My $30 Graf pre-molded Graf footbeds worked GREAT, but hell..if I can get something better..why not?

If they work out, I'm going to get some made for my custom skates when I get a pair this coming winter. Might as well customize everything, not just the boot, but the footbed as well..

If you are getting custom skates, get them done before you get the skates.

Have them make the skate with the orthotic in mind so that you don't have to trim.

The orthotic seems to come in different sizes, but they have to be ground to fit the skate..I'm bringing the skates in tommorow..Had them fit tonight and around lunch break I'll run into the shop and get them fitted into the boot..But yeah I'm guessing if I'm going with a custom skate, I'd have to get my orthotics done there as well. I'll post pics tommorow night..
