Custom mouth guard in Toronto/GTA?

Recommended Posts

I know custom mouth guard has been discussed extensively on this board, but I am not asking about custom or store bought.

All I want to know is, where in GTA/Toronto area can I get a good custom mouth guard made for a good price? I do not have a dentist and my work does not cover this.

Thank you.

Go to your dentist, if you have insurance its free, but if you don't its around 50-60 bucks

 I wish my dentist had those prices. I don't remember the exact number, but it was def. >$140.

i used Opro and was happy.

but i stated hockey in my mid-tenties and i have never played full contact, so i can't give you info on how the protection really is. I got the medium guard they also offer two levels higher than that.

I am going to head down the dentist mouthguard route. I hear they are more comfortable and they feel smaller in your mouth then the do-it-yourself mouthies.

Can't go wrong with custom moutguards. My plan only covers medical ones (anti-grinding) but my dentist was ok with making me sport one and writing it off as a medical. Fits very snug and doesn't move and you can talk normally without any problems to the fact that I forget that I even have them on until I get an occasional stick or hit in the face.

I really want to get custom/dentist mouth guard because it does not restrict your breathing and I cannot think properly when I am gasping for air. Along with talking properly, as I play defense.

But, I do not want to pay an arm and a leg for it too.

Is it too much to ask??
