Downtown Windsor

Recommended Posts

Need some help from the canadiens on the board, my 19th birthday is coming up on August 16th and I wanted to know if there was anything in special I should look for when im up there in a few weeks. any good bars or clubs that are a must see or is it just like a normal downtown with the randon asortment of decent bars, also any recomdations on hotels near the main street that are decently cheap but not like a red roof inn or motel 6?

thanks alot!

I was there a few months ago and Ouellette Avenue is the hot spot. The hotel that we stayed at also gave us wristbands that allowed us to skip the lines. I cant remember which hotel it was but it might have been the Courtyard by Marriott

Windsor is known for one thing: THE BAR SCENE! My favorite place was The Beach. $1.50 mixes and pillow fights were the highlights of my time there. Ahhh...good times.

ha kinda cool seeing a topic about my hometown

start at Tabu $2.00 wells, or Treehouse, both sick places. then once you get all liquored up head over to The Beach for dancing.

EDIT* almost forgot, go to the casino buffet for dinner...$25 for literally anything you can think of.

Totally agree with the post above me, casino buffet is worth the cash. If you're looking for somewhere a little cheaper for dinner/kickoff drinks, try the Honest Lawyer. The waitresses there have never failed to impress, and i'm not talking service.
