TechnoGym Cardio Wave

Has anybody on here had a chance to use one of these? I got a couple of them at my gym and was wondering if I should spend a little more time on this instead of the bike. It imitates the skating motion somewhat but not sure if it's going to beneficial, or just create bad habits.

I can only give you some background info on TechnoGym...

The company I used to work for here that sold Gym equipment used to flog the TechnoGym brand to allot of gyms. I still use my TG bottle for hockey (great bottle, very tough) their stuff is made in South Africa (if it bothers you where stuff is made) and most of the elite clients we had swore by the product. Abit like looking at a Audi if you wanted to buy a luxury car, a good name, its not a Merceds Benz, close but. ;-)

I'm a member at Lifetime Fitness and one of the locations I visit frequently has one of these. They're a good quad workout when you set the level high enough. You need to keep a good knee/hip bend and not stand as upright on it when you're using it to get the benefit in your skating muscles.
