Gummer12 134 Report post Posted September 18, 2008 if the Griffs are still playin could go catch a game at Van Andel..and right behind there is the B.O.B (Big Ol Building) Great bars within stumbling distance. There's a good irish themed bar, and a Dueling Piano bar that rocks right next to each other. There's a Perani's, but it's in a rink, and kinda hard to find. Also the restaurant that inspired the series American Pie is not too far from Van Andel. Forget the name of it, I can get it if you'd like. Couple decent malls, the Ford Museum is really neat. Although haven't been there since they buried G.R. there. Want any more ideas let me know, I got lots of friends that live there and can give me more ideas. But if you're just lookin to drink, just stay close to the BOB and you'll be set.

hehatemefrisbee 0 Report post Posted September 19, 2008 GR is a sweet town. There are a lot of good bars and restaurants near Van Andel. As mentioned above, check out the BOB, and also check out The Intersection. They have live music, and its a cool bar. Also the great lakes brewery is just down the street. Gummer12 134 Report post Posted September 19, 2008 Intersection is another good spot...The Orbit Room is alright for concerts...every now and again get a decent act in there for cheap. There's also a GREAT Italian restaurant just up the beltline from the Oribt Room, forget what it's called. All the waitresses are HOT 18 yr olds. And really good food too.
