skate tongue swap.

just wondering how hard this is to do on my own?

i recently purchased Nike Flexlite 12s from tbintexas as replacements for my old school Nike Zoom Air (fedorov colorway).

the Flexlites have the newer style tongue but my older Zoom Airs have the white felt tongue.. i'd want the felt tongues on my Flexlites, if possible.

how hard would that be to swap out?

how much would a LHS charge me to do that?

You would probably have to take it to a shoe repair shop.

I just had my stock Flexlite 12 tongues replaced with One95 tongues, because they were too thick for my feet. Like budro says, I'll bet a shoe repair shop could do it.

some proshops do do it though.. depends if the shop repairs other equipment though.. like a tsr or something on that view

i replaced tounges and it took about 3 days at my lhs. It really depends on how busy the store is.

I took my 9k's to a shoe repair shop and he did them in two days. Although, he stiched them in wrong making one tounge longer than the other, so be careful and specify what exactly you want done.
